About the Role:
Robert Levy MDPC is looking for an experienced Pediatric Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team in Dearborn, MI! Responsibilities:
- Assist the physician with pediatric patient exams, procedures, and routine well-child visits
- Record and update patient medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints in the EMR system
- Administer vaccinations, immunizations, and injections per physician orders
- Prepare and maintain clean, stocked exam rooms between patient visits
- Perform pediatric-specific clinical tasks including growth chart measurements and developmental screenings
- Coordinate lab work, referrals, and prior authorizations as needed
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding patient care instructions and follow-up appointments
Requirements:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a pediatric clinical setting
- Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of pediatric immunization schedules and vaccine administration
- Strong clinical skills including vital signs and specimen collection
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and families
- Compassionate, patient, and calm demeanor in a busy office environment

Compensation: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Dearborn Pediatrics is a leading provider of pediatric and adolescent care in Southeast Michigan. We provide pediatric health care to children of all ages, from newborn to 21 years of age.
Our office is open 6 days a week and there is always a doctor on call for emergencies. We are conveniently located on Monroe Street just south of Outer Drive in Dearborn, Michigan.
Dearborn Pediatrics is affiliated with Beaumont, Dearborn and Providence Medical Center.
